Summerlake Mission Statement & Team Values

The Summer Lake Tsunamis Swim Team, of Chesterfield County, VA is dedicated to developing and motivating swimmers at all levels. We support the sport of competitive swimming by teaching proper technique, physical fitness, and instilling the spirit of sportsmanship. Our social developmental philosophy for swimmers includes personal accountability, individual goal setting, and self discipline. The Summer Lake Swim Team recognizes the contribution of all of its members and strives to maintain athletic excellence in a supportive team environment. We also recognize that having a swim team in our neighborhood will foster an increased sense of community and allow families to participate together in a group activity for the betterment of both the children and our neighborhood.
